Hi,
I've searched and read the other posts about the light coming on on corners etc but I don't think it covers my problem...
Few weeks ago the light didn't go off when I took the handbrake off. The lever was fully down and there wasn't any drag on the car - so I drove home. On the way home the light becan flickering on and off - mainly on bends but only at speeds of 30mph (town driving).
Then the light went out, and even when home and ever since when I put the handbrake on - the light doesn't come ON. Its permanently off.
It is a sticky switch on the handbrake?
I'm off to check brake fluid as I had new when I put my V6s on (months ago).

I think its the switch but just wondered if anyone has had the same problem and it being something else.
Can you tell me exactly where the switch is in relation to the handle please...?

I'll check the brake fluid while Im looking at the car.
If its the switch whats the best way to fix it? WD40 or something to loosen it - or a replacement switch?

My pads are only 3 months old so hope it isn't them!

Just been to look at the switch after looking where it is in my Haynes Bible, only to find that its a nightmare trying to get the gaiter out from underneath the fairly solid carpet - can anyone offer any help as to an easy way of getting to the switch?
Thanks,
