oh and of course u loose the engine imobiliser as thats part of the (M1.5.5).

If its about fitting another engine, and there is the 1.8 Ecotec why not the 2.2, its lighter thatn the old 2.0 Red Top by 20.5 kg (45lbs) which would help handling.

also the corsa c uses a fly by wire throttle and the cav engine doesnt.

Drill a hole though the bulkhead and make up the pedal and use the cav cable.
