Ive just taken off side skirts that were on the car they were bonded on.

Now how do I remove the glue that was holding them on, Ive tried Hot water and heat gun, both no joy

Any ideas...........

go to your local paint shop and ask for an eraser wheel it fits in the end of a drill and will take it off without damaging the paint

most probably known as a toffee wheel.
bodyshops use them too remove the glue left from badges, sidestrips etc...
