Does anyone know of a little Memory Speed Test program i can download to check the speed of my memory

Just upgraded to DDR 400 but i can't see any diffrence Had 512 266 and upgraded to 1024 400.

its only noticable when openin stuff liek photoshop etc

Is your motherboard actually driving the RAM at 400MHz though or have your upgraded that and your CPU too...

You can't just change the ram and it'll be quicker -- 400MHz ram just means it CAPABLE of running at 400MHz...

i need to sort my pc out so i can run games tidy with out making it have a physical memory dump everytime

Just changed the RAM for now. I've changed the frequency in the BIOS from AUTO to 400. I think it's running at 400 anyway

Get AIDA32 (may take some lookin for) it has a memory bandwidth benchmark, I get around 4.7gb/s bandwidth on mine at home.
