dunno about the petrols but the td is self bleeding, just changed it and it took about 5-6 attepts to start

all you need to do is de-pressure-ise your fuel system
to do this just open the fuel filler co s if you wer going to put in some petrol
then its just a case unbolt the pipes....one top one bottom, on your old fuel filter.....attach new one to pipes....nd your done
u will loose light bit of petrol ot i in the pipe at the time...but other thn that....you shouldnt really lose much

you wont loose too much, you can crimp the pipes on each end of the fuel filter to stop to much coming out!
