Hi guys bascially when i start the car i get the car with the spanner every morning on my corsa c untill the engine warms up and temprature gague goes to about 95-100 with is rather high i think, car was lacking in anitfreeze so put more in any1 know whats wrong would really appreciate it also is it sumthing major??
Normally it only happens in the morning time and when i turn the car off fans still runs for a while.......... any ideas???

is your coolant regurlarly running low?
i'd say if it is & engine is running hot all the time, could be early signs of a fudged headgasket

haveny checked it 2day but no doesnt normally go low?? only put coolant in twice since i'v have it! i'm not the the owner since thought...........
how much would a headgasket cost aslo is it worth driveing on a motorway! on the weekend? my cars only done about 38k

just the spanner noise & coolant made me think HG
check plugs/leads
also could be a fooked temp sensor, about £12 new from vaux. plugs/leads from vaux will cost a lil bit more

Thanks m8 doesnt make spanner noice the car with the spanner light comes on engine mangement light i think its called untill the engine warms up!
