Anything not cotton-gauze would suit.
What are you after? Looks? Sound? Cost?

Go for a Pipercross panel for a lifetime filter and no headaches, but you won't notice any difference.
Don't drill your airbox - modify the internals instead (search about on here as it's been discussed before).
You'll never get the improved throttle response unless you fit an induction kit...
So either go for a normal "small" induction kit Pipercross or be a man and buy my Pipercross XL filter.
Same as what used to be the BFO cone, but now with Vortex foam (ooooooh).
Been used for a couple of months, but all good shit
Normally £87, yours for a bag of magic beans and £40.
Yes:
Pipercross
(and at a push) Ramair, ITG
No:
K&N
Green
BMC
Jetex/JR
You're joking me right:
Apexi
Ractive
HKS
Max Power
Simota

I have a RAM AIR filter on my Sport, sounds good, seemed to improve response but look a little on the small side Loaned my mates GSi K&N, wasn't as good as the ram-air, quieter and less responsive!

Because I don't have an engine that's suitable. Plus my new engine has a Viper.

The K&N was probably clogged full of dirt. Cotton-gauze has a habit of doing that. Great eh.
