what size allen key/rench is needed to un do the 2 bolts under the caliper??

the ones holding the caliper on are 10mm the ones wich allow you to seperate the caliper into two bits are 8mm

Best getting a proper allen socket.

A key will probably bend

when at work i always use a 7mm allen key socket........8 wont go on

so dont no why you are using a 8mm?

Get a Corsa brake caliper key.

agreed

7mm fitment - same as ford

get a 7mm allen key from local motor factors, no need for specialist tool!

I just think the brake caliper key is nicer. They cost about £3 and are longer. They also have a nice rubber handle, which is good when the bolts are rusted in.
