hi, i was told that there is an earth point somewhere in the footwells... but it can't seem to find it.. i found a big screw next to the big grommit behind dash on passenger side.. i wired my earth to that for my neons but it won't work!  anyone know of another place in the footwells which would work? i dont want to be tapping into any wires for the earth.. im not good at electrics and could only just manage soldering some wires together!! also i dont want to be ripping up my carpet to find some place on the chassis

straight from battery with inline fuse

just ground it too neg battery

or theres a grounding point in pasenger footwell on the left behing where the under glove box tray slots in
