not really a problem as i don't really care about car too much, but the koni suspension i have is really noisy when cruising at about 20-30mph thru a town or on a slower road that is quite bumpy.
can hear the shocks compressing and they just sound loud, little rattly but mainly sounds like a foot pump being compressed etc
is that normal?

the compression sounds, hissing should be normal over very rough roads or over speedbumps, maybe your bushes are very worn?

have you got the correct size bumpstops installed? how much have you lowered the car?

its a 40mm kit, dunno about bumpstops, just gave the garage a box of bits and the car

Not sure what car shocks are charged with, but it's usually a sign that the shocks are knackered if then make a wooshing noise. Mine do the same on the back, and everything squeeks

I agree with Ed^, they could be faulty! Shouldnt be making any really loud noises

Can't imagine brand new Koni yellows ballsing up that quick.
Change the top mounts see if that helps.

its really noisy
been like it since new.
people like round when they hear the car coming, sounds a bit high-tec
dunno if shocks are faulty, they seem to asborb everything when i bounce car

i always seem to end up with the dodgy items all the time
