ajust the clutch
is the clutch level (height wise) with the break and accelorator?
if not needs ajusting under the bonnet to raise the clutch up again

I get this ALOT!
I have also cured this now:
1) Dip clutch all the way, put into reverse (Half way in, so it doesnt crunch)
2)Put back in nuetral, release clutch
3) Dip clutch and select reverse
So you sort of 'double clutch' into reverse. . . it can be a pain. . but its ok once you get used to it!!

They all do it.
It won't be the clutch...
Try re-aligning the gear selector. Look in a Haynes manual to tell you how to do it
