i think the laser on my ps2 has fooked cos it wont load any games no more... is there an easy way of fixing this or will i have to be asking santa for a new one this year??

New lasers are £35 but then its the cost of fitting. Your better off buying a new PS2 or as munky says, wait for the PS3.

There's a temporary "fix" for Disc reading errors around the internet, Google for it. Not 100% success rate, and it won't work if the actual laser itself is borked.
