Obviously youve got the standard ways of cooling etc but are there any other ways of cooling a car and keeping it cool etc, x16xe

Higher capacity rad, oil cooler, bigger sump + more oil e.t.c.. Or you could be really cool and cut a hole in your bonnet and put mesh over it.

boonet vents...
remove the rubber seal between the bulkhead and bonnet
raise the rear of the bonnet
wrap manifold/exhaust

adding an extra fan so that u have 2 controlled by a switch is an option, i know 306's have a double fan for cooling

just add a switch to your current fan. If the OE fan isnt keeping the engine to temp, that suggests you have problems! Simply cooling it more isnt the ideal solution.

Unless its due to higher reving, less air flow from daft bumper/bonnet sort the source of the problem

My 2.1 seems fine re water temps (dont have oil temp gauge yet)
My old GT needed a overide switch for the fan to just prevent it heating up too quickly. It would rise well above the fan cut in point before falling. Switching it on early in the cabin helped. This was due to mounting a FMIC in front of the rad though

my old c16xe fan was on permently and never had a prob with overheating

Go all out and fit a halon cooling system.

Just dont breath the gas cos youll die

I do have an extednded bonnet yes

the fan does kick in when the temp gets high but it very rarely does get high enough for it to kick in
