I believe the TD one is larger but a standard 1.4 one works ok. If in doubt you could renew it to ensure its efficient. Mine started leaking and cost me £45 for a new one.

1.4 16v sport with aircon one is the biggest you'll find.

yep as rob says 1.4/1.6 with air con is the biggest either use one of them with a top hose from a mk3 astra gsi or a standard 1.4/1.6 rad with a 1.0 12v top hose

the only reall problem you may find is if the car starts to over heat then the rad can't cope with the extra thermal load. but even cars with TB etc don;t seem to run badly

not sure on the stats but you can get a fan switch that kicks in sooner, im thinking of getting one for mine
I have a std 1.4 rad and its doesnt get hot even whwn giving it some only time I seem the guage go up much is in traffic but even then the fan only cuts in at about 105 and cools it to 100 so i think a cooler fan switch is def going to be fitted

if they're anything like the 1.2 16v one then your not, as the hose connections are wrong (i think)
