Im just getting round to fitting a c20xe in my car, but was wondering why everyone chooses these and not the ecotec? is it just for the fact they d not have as much bhp? is there anything good about the ecotec engine which is better than the redtop

eco's have chocolate pistons iirc... generally not as strong and have all the ecotec shite to go wrong

Yep. Esaier to find one with less miles though, but most people just buy a redtop and rebuild it, best way to go.

Yes thats what ive done Ry_b, bought it had it stripped and rebuilt.
