i have to wait til monday for collection of my laptop

then they want to inspect it for 2 days to see if its repairable (how long does it take to look at a screen?)

then i have to wait either 5 working days for them to repair it, or 3 for them to replace it



why does it take so long?

i did, they said it just does

apparently i dont need to do anything to my laptop

however, i have backed up all the important stuff, and deleted my personal info and passwords

fuck knows what i'll do without the internet for 8 days

unless i can get the desktop pc to connect to the internet again

connection setting are all wrong

either that or the usb port has packed in, and it wont detect the modem

i'll sort it out hopefully

its slow though, its running a pentium 2 mmx
