someone i know has a new number, anyhow i've put it in the phonebook but when she phones or texts its not recognising it? Any ideas why or how to sort it?!

try using the prefix +44, so instead of 07842-xxxxxx, its +447842-xxxxxx etc
Had similar problems before and it was the only way to solve it

Nokias sometimes do this if you've another entry in the phone book with the same number in. Check you didn't already store it under a different name.

Sorted it now, copied all my contacts to sim and its recognised it now.
