How can torrent throughput be doubled?
Why were torrents not using all of your bandwidth to start off with?

only thing i can think of is that your previous setup was ported properly, but the cisco firewall has opened the correct ports....ie: increased speeds....could be barking up the wrong tree though, just seems odd how a firewall can automatically add 100k to your downloads lol

The 2500 routers are just used for practice for CCNA/NP stuff, Pix is for when I start CCSP but set it up as it seems better than linksys, using 10 of the 24 ports on the switch so far and will be networking the house so should use a few more of the spare ports then

I thought they were running slow but had forwarded the ports, the port tester in uTorrent said it wasn't open so looks like it is now with the PIX

Pix also has a faster processor + more ram which means it can inspect packets faster, was suprised to get that much of an increase
