just had my bb upgraded from 1mb to 3mb, but its slower than it was when i had 1mb? do i need to change any settingd on my router? av had a search but had no luck.

Go here and download quicktime...this will give you a true indication of your bandwidth. The Apple web servers are always really fast so you can see yout true speed.

You shouldnt need to change anything on your router..apart from maybe restarting it.

its deffo slower, its only downloading at 68kbs tops.... just getting an email from my ISP in the email they say they will run tests on my line for 10days to find the fastest... if its no better after the new yer i'll get asked to be back on what i was

I had some trouble with my connection the other day. The guy on the other end of the phone said the cold weather and christmas lights can have an effect on the cable and cause attenuation (loss of signal)
Might be down to that

just restarted rounter and now its downloading at 308kbs
