These kepp popping up on my PC and its really starting to piss me off!
Can someone tell me how to turn these off as i can't remember how.

no, its nothing to do with msn, its one that actually built into the computer. I've de-activated it before but i can't remember how to do it.

im just trying to find out what you mean by 'messenger popups'
is it a Dell pop up? can you do a print screen of it?

I think i've sorted it now. Found a related topic and followed instructions in there.
Its in Admin tools, under Services, then Messenger

if you go to run, then type msconfig you can also turn loads off loads os shite tht runs when you start the pc
