well i've had mine since last feb and no ring of death 'yet' but then again it hasn't really ran for like more than a few hours on the trot. Doubt it ever will either really.

I bought mine in September last year and experienced the 'ring of death' last week. A quick trip down to Game and they swapped it over for a new one so wasn't too bad!

Mines about 3 months old and is starting to crash and lock up. No red lights yet but it seems its only a matter of time.
