Nice but the case is way too expensive for me. I wouldn't spend more than £100 on one. Also, ya don't need a 650w PSU to run that lot.

nice set up mate, although, is that 3gb ram one stick? you'll wanna upgrade to 4gb before long.
and for 30 more punds you could have got the q6600 which will increase the size of your epins beyond belief.
p35 mobos are out now with ddr3 (a bit more expensive, but a lot more futureproof)

beat me to it! Plus it saves me upgrading in the future if I upgrade the rest of the system.
And bought the case as like the look of it plus has great airflow. Plus is also big enough to allow me to continually upgrade for ges yet.

3GB? tis only 2 that Im getting for now!!
Im not jumping into a better mobo for now, as will wait until more DDR3 and 1,333FSB CPU supported mobos are released, rather than picking from only a small bunch at the moment.

Just had an email from Scan saying that the MoBo I want is out of stock (so much for their online stock thingy which said they had it!).
Any suggestions?!

Where are you mofo's?!! I need to tell them today
Looking at the Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP, its about £40 more but is P35 so more future proof. Not sure if to spend even more on the one that can support DDR3 or if thats just a waste at the moment seems DDR2 is pretty good.
There is also a delay on this, so means I could wait to get the E6700 CPU and get it when the prices drop to save some cash.

im wrong its the Striker that supports 1333mhz bus. but that £180.
tbh the one you listed is the one i would get unless your willing to spend out for the Striker and want its extra features.

The only change i would make is change your PSU to a corsair 520W as these are the most solid on the market

Also
This is one hell of a mobo...
Total beast, I've built 5 machines with it and 2 of them were for over clockers brilliant piece of kit!

Yeah, it will be getting coverclocked, so thats my main aim from the mobo to be able to handle a good overclock.

No, I took the opportunity of them not having either Mobo's I was considering instock to cancel the order until the price drop comes about.

How are the quad cores for overclocking? I know the E6700 is great which is why I went for it really.

TBH the E6600 is better for overclocking and £50 less. mines at 3.4 gig atm.
The quads are pretty good too they have G-0 stepping which makes them good clockers.
