Go out first thing in the morning, car starts first time, drive it for as long as you like as hard as you like. Park up, try to start it and nothing happens, just keeps turning over and over and over.
Go back to it a few days later and it will start first time?
Any ideas?

Only plug under the seat is the one for the fuel pump, no relays there.

I had a similar problem with my 1.2 16v Corsa which turned out to be the crank sensor.

yeah just gona say, crank sensors can be cunts and not show up on the EML or even store any codes...
think there about £40 or so from vaux, but don't quote me on that (could be wrong) only problem you may have is with the wiring as its fed up behind the inlet...

Mine was £40 new, but then I paid them to do the diagnostics and fit it on top of that But then the car was mysteriously cutting out while driving when it got warm, then starting again when it was cold with no fault light....
