Hi all,
This a question on behalf of a mate of mine.
He has an Astra1.7 CDTI common rail Diesel that he has been serviceing and he wants to change the fuel filter. He needs to know if the system is pressurised at the filter? If not how easy is it to do? What should he be aware of regarding air locks etc....?
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Cheers

No there will be no pressure, just undo the Torx bolt out the middle, flip the top out the way. Change the filter and seal and put the bolt back in. Will take a bit to start up again, will probably crank over for a good 30 secs until it fires up properly again.
