Just bought 2gb of ram for my pc installed it and when i've booted my pc and checked system information it says only 1gb of ram. What have i don wrong?
I know my pc can support more than 2gb of ram so wondering why it's not seeing i have 2gb in there now.

Russ - I just took everything out again and pushed them back in till they clicked and the same has happened only picks up 1gb.
Have swapped them over into the different slots and well the computer wouldn't even boot

Yeah the old ram has gone sat in a packet on the sofa.
Now when i switch off and reboot it takes 6-7 attempts to get through.
