i got my hands on a c20xe from a calibra complete with the whole subframe and the driveshafts. im guessing that the calibra equal lenght shafts are going to be far too long for the corsa?
can anyone clear this up for me as im sure its been done before?

the equal length ones fit ie the drivers side, you have to buy a shorter one for the passager side

both side's fit...
but sometime's you may need to shorten one of the shafts by a few mm

you dont need to shorten the shorter shaft you just recut the circlip groove in by (3 or 5) mm and tbh i dont think thats necessary

hang on, so if i got a set of equal length shafts, these will fit say a f16 or f20 box and std corsa hubs, and it all fits??

no, they fit the big block box, and you need big block type hub's either ones's in conversion kit's you get or machine cav/cali/astra one's etc

liking the sounds of this. will be givin that ago at work sometime soon then
ainsley - circlip grove? to make the cv sit fruther down the shaft?

yup exactly. Personally i didnt think it was neccessary but had the facilities so did it anyway
