Quick question, I am waiting to fit my Cav GSi alloys to my corsa B. The car is lowered 60mm. I am going to remove the 195/50/15 tyres from my Ripspeed wheels, and stick them on the cav alloys for now to save money wasted on buying new tyres.
Will replace with 195/45/15s next time round. I’m having a new arch liner fitted as my pass side liner was removed to stop the offset 40 wheels rubbing. Will the cav alloys rub the arch liner with 195/50/15 tyres fitted with a 60mm drop or will I need the 45 profile tyres to stop the rubbing?
Thanks.

K thanks mate, just seems a waste when they're perfectly good tyres to fork out for more just for a 5mm lower profile.

I think you're going to suffer quite badly. Mine was on a 60mm drop, I bought wheels with 40 profiles on them and it wasn't phsyically driveable.
I'm on 45's at the moment and it's fine. No rubbing

i had astra sport alloys on mine and they had 195/50 on them with about a 60mm drop
they rubbed on the front everytime i went round a corner or a small bump
not so much the back but the front was the worst, i ended up buyin 195/45

hmmmm, maybe it is worth just getting the 195/45s.
The whole reason I bought the cav alloys was the ET49, so I may aswell just 100% job and fit some decent 45's.
The car is currently on budget 195/50/15s.
The wheels and tyres were £300, so you can guess how good the tyres are
