Last week my car failed its MOT on a few things aswell as the emissions. I had a retest today and it passed everything apart from emissions. I fitted a new lambda sensor and the car hasnt been used alot because of the decat so the CAT is relatively new.

Any ideas how to bring it down. one CO reading was 0.6 where it should be 0.3.

your not doing bad running that with no cat, stick the cat back on and it should piss it

This happed with mine Monday, had to fit a new CAT. It worked though got it down from 0.8 to 0.2

are you running after market enhatst manifold? And are you taking it for a spanking before the test to get it bloody hot? Mine had this problem and i spent £260 sorting it out. Mind envolved new cat, hego, coolant temp sensor, manifold gasket, exhaust o ring, turned out it was the manifold causing all my problems....
