if your clutch pedal is low down it may not be releasing fully when you push it down, you might just need to tighten the cable

Yeh that sounds like what it could be, maybe the cable has stretched abit ?
Any ideas how easy it is to adjust it ?

easy really. if you look at the lever on top of the gearbox the cable is threaded at the end. you need to push the lever back and wind the plastic thing further up the cable

Before you do anything too serious I'd suggest resetting your gear linkage as they are a bit shite in corsas. You might even need some new bushes in there...

Good news for me today! i noticed today when i got in the car that the clutch pedal wasnt level with brake pedal no more so i just adjusted the cable and all is good nice and smooth! one other things is there ment to be anything that locks it from coming unadjusted ?

That was the problem with mine.

Would select gears fine with the engine not running, but just crunch with the engine running.
Tightened the cable, and all was good

hey guys, my clutch gave up in the end! so looking at getting a new one, been quoted for a Valeo clutch 70 quid. or theres the cheaper option but i been told to steer well alway from them, had to get it home so drove it lol was hard work! Funds are tight at the mo so looks like il be doing it myself on thursday, i think it was the release bearing that gave up in the end or something to do with the preasure plate. i could leaver the clutch fork up and down really easy so something isnt rite in there..
