Would these cam run with standard engine. Want to buy some, fit them and then in a month or 2 get a remap?

the 2 cams I have used widely in these engines with great results are

catcams:

and the newman 264's.

both very good cams, 264's work well on the x16 with inlet and remap. some verniers are a big advantage as well.

Both sets are £330 for a pair of cams ground from blanks. Both kits will work with standard internals, followers, valve springs etc....

I wouldnt reccomend buying cams off an internet sales site, if you get a problem setting them up or fitting them the chances are they wont have a clue when it comes to helping you.
