Just a bit of advice needed on PCI slots...
It says the bottom one is a normal PCI..
But then what is this? PCI also apparantly, but they're different?!
The must have different names rather than just PCI surely?
Cheers

From my experirnce, a card like that (the bottom one) would fit into a normal PCI slot on a board. The white slot....
I dont think there's a different name for it TBH

Yeah as Aaron said, bottom is more normal PCI. That card above may fit into a special riser slot. Not seen one like that I don't think.

Agreed, looks like an ISA. And it's only a network card, so could well be

So no definite answer then so far?
Does everyone think the two pci's pictured would fit in the same slot then?
Glad it's not just me that isn't sure

The bottom is deffo a PCI, but what are you after a network card, PCI graphics card?. I don't think they'll both fit in the same slot. The 'Normal' one looks like a much older card type.

But are they not different kinds of PCI? They're clearly different, so surely there's a name that differentiates them?

Both bottom pics are standard PCI.
The one with two notches is a the universal version (3.3V or 5V), the one with a single notch is a 5V-only adapter.
