Are they just a straight swap for motorsport shafts using motorsport hubs?

yes and no..
sometimes you can get away with a stright swap..
but sometime's i head they have to be modded slightly

one side is the usual short shaft and there are two short shafts on the other side with a bearing in the middle.

The angled parts of the shafts are the same length. So the longer drivers side shft instead of having a cv joint at the end going into the gearbox has a short shaft and then a cv joint and then the angled part of the shaft!

drivers side will go straight on passenger side you may have to recut the circlip groove to shorten it slightly
|
