Ive noticed on most x16xe's they havnt got this pump.
What does it do ? Should i just remove mine ?

secondary air injection. And yes you can just get rid of it!

ive been told thats needed, i had a split in mine and the engine ran poor till i got a new one, runs fine now,

i thought it needed it? thought at a certain RPM it opens a valve?

nope, all it does is throws air into the manifold to warm the cat up quicker when you first start it to help with the emissions. after 2 mins or so once it starts to warm up then it turns off

Well i aint got a cat so it really aint doin much then!
It is coming off tomorrow. Plus i need to remove it to see where my small oil leak is
