hi my brother has got a clio 172 when the engine is cold it revs right up to the limiter once the engine has warmed up it is only reving to 5000 rpm

he has changed the crank sensor and the engine coolent temperature sensor but is still the same

any ideas thanks

Taking it upto the rev limiter when cold is a really dumb thing to do.

its sorted now was a dodgy crank sensor he doesnt do that all the time it was only revving up to 5000 revs but itd fine now
