when using engine lift - where is it best to lift it from?
connect bracket to what part etc?
crane i have now bought came with some chains too - if it helps to use chain

You have 2 opposing mount points on the head with M8 threads.

thanx - which oposite sides? by main breather radiator side ?
do i need to connect bolts/bracket or anything? doesn't seem to be anything there to connect to when lifting

IIRC it is front left and rear right of the head. You should have a small bracket on each, either that or 2 redundant holes.

Be careful about scratching the head if you're using chain instead of rope.
