Whats best for patching a leaking fuel tank?
Its a honda accord, and been quoted £500 for a new tank fitted
There was £50 of fuel in the tank, its only lost half of that so im guessing the leak must be in the upper half, or on the seam if there is one
Thought I would try patching it first to see if it would do the job, and the cars getting sold anyway

Plastic or metal tank?
I mind using chemical metal on a metal tank once  worked a treat

why not just get one from a scrappy. or ductape it

Take the tank out.
If you empty and clean the tank out propperly you could even weld the hole up
