Nokia E51 arrived today - haven't put the sim card in it yet, but it was advertised on eBay as unlocked but on Vodafone
Anyway, is there anyway of removing the Vodafone branding on start-up etc? Will a simple firmware update or even factory restore work?

Its just firmware branding, look on google theres bound to be an unbranded firmware.

You need a program called nss, you change one number, then it'll update with the official firmware from the nokia site, i'm looking for a guide for you.
