there are currently no bluetooth profiles for the Iphone.
THe Bluetooth protocol is made up of profiles, i.e a profile to use voice over bluetooth (when connecting phone to tomtom, this is currently possible), a profile for sending files and so on.
There currently isnt any profiles for sending files.

Flashlight is good, as is google earth, google app (voice to search recognition), cyordor for recording video, MxTube for downloading your fav youtube videos, Shazam for music recognition, I use NemusSync to sync my calendar with my gmail calendar.

And as i mentioned before, Catagories for creating folders on your desktop and moving programs into that folder, but be warned, before you update your firmware, be sure to reset the icons back to the original desktop.

With the latest 2.2, you get google streetview which isnt too far away from being completed in the UK. Its available in the USA and france at the moment. Heres some screenshots from my phone:

Corsa Sport Gav -> Did you gt o2 to add MMS to your contract?

As for the receiving problem you need to ask them to just put MMSs straight to your inbox rather than send a txt notification

as Beater said, painless and very easy.
I dont think you can brick it to be honest?

If all else fails.. plug it in, open itunes and click 'Restore' and it'll return it to its original state, ready for you to re-sync it back.

Ive restored mine about 3 times, jailbroken it a couple of times and ive not fucked it yet. Im surprised its even kept all the contacts etc.
