gonna do my rear solenoid for boot at some point which wire is the live from the rear wiper motor>>

This might sound a little anal but, there won't be that many wires in the boot lid, earth is easily visible once the trim is off, can't you put a multimeter across the remaining wires?

get a test light
and i wouldn't use the wiper switch after i see a boot come open at 130 coz the guy clipped the switch

ohh for god was only asking if anyone knew off the top of there head as its cold and my car is not with me at mo, in a mates garage.........
cos my car is stripped at the back dont really want it to look nice so im gonna just rig up a small latch to hold it down in case i did clip it open one day

fair enough mate
well theres only 2 wires to the motor not sure on the clours but one is short and goes to inside of the lid mate
