Easy to fit, will give the engine a bit more roar, depends what you have in the way of a zorst tho really.
Best bet, drilled airbox

the drilled airbox wiv a performance filter does sound deep & roars like crazy!
I've got a K&N induction kit on mine atm tho, sounds nice, can hear it suckin the air in, and with the straight thru exhaust i got (de-catted), sounds verrrrry nice!!

its will sound very nice on an sri they roar with induction kits on them! unclip ur air box u get the same sort ov noise!!

I am driving a 1.4Merit and ganna to get Magnex 3R backbox as well as K&N induction kit. will it sound ok?

yep it is an 8v, and it will just sound like a loud drone, nothing special. i had one on my 1.4
u need 16v for it to sound anyway half decent
but it will sound better than a std airbox

piperx usually give a bit more performance but i don't think there as loud as the K&N

what ever kit u go for their will be unnotciable difference in power between them
PVD's BFO cone is quite loud so ive been told
K&N and Pipercross are pretty much the same, so if u really want an induction kit just go for what ever1 is cheepest
with a drilled airbox go for a panel filter like K&N, i only say this cos its what ive got and i like it

I thought it was between 8v and 16v but then realisised the early 8v SRi's roar well too.
So I think its between spi and mpi.
Mpi's having a louder roar.
