Hi all,
After putting the head back on after a rebuild, my battery cable is just too short to reach the battery to get a good connection on the terminal.
I am popping up the scrappy tomorrow to get a new connection block with wire attached and going to extend it.
What is the best way to connect the two together?
I'm thinking connector block and shrink tube to give it a proper seal when done?
Anyone got any words of advice?
Thanks in advance

buy new battery cable.
waste of time joining it, more chance of it failing and draining current through the connector

If I'm going to get new cable the throttle body and possibly head has got to come off anyway and then I wouldn't need a new cable!
I'm not looking to bodge it as it will be a proper job done of it. Just don't know whether it will work. Surely it's just the same cable ad sub power cable?

Managed to resolve it today. Had to reposition battery etc and sort it all out so didnt need to extend power cable.
