Righjt i have a 1.4 sport, has powerflow backbox and deristricted and drilled airbox, think the fuel filter needs replacing not sure when it was last doen but wouldnt have thought it would have made it this bad.
Past couple of times when i have put fuel in car, say £30, steady driving the car will do around 160 - 180 miles and need more fuel.
What could be causing it to use fuel more than usual, it used to be good on fuel lol

Maybe because the price of fuel has gone up and £30 doesn't buy you as much as it used to
Also, fuel filter wouldn't have any effect on consumption.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
