I have a 1.2 8v Corsa merit l reg and I would like to
convert it to a 1.6 or 1.4 (preff 1.6) but have no
clue in what I need to get e.g what I can use that is already on the car like the fuel pump and tank it's
currantly on colies and 2.0l brakes. Could someone list 1. All the parts I need to get and 2. All of the parts I can use that is on the car already

not sure if the 1.6 fits in the 1.2 chasis without serious shell modifications?

I have a nova 1.6 8v engine from a Gte.
Needs to be put back together.
Everything there needed, engine, gearbox, wire loom etc

Lol can someone tell me if it's do able I can do the convesion I just need to know if I can use any parts on the car already I know I will need a new fuel pump but what about fuel lines ? Are most bits the same

they dont, they get a 1.6 shell to do it i thought? ive only ever seen sports or gsi's with bigger engines in.

An 8V shell is different to a 16V shell. Know someone provided a pic a while back comparing the differences and the difference is surprising, i'll try digging it up.
I'd imagine the pump would defo need changing due too SPI and MPI differences.

you can put an xe in type1 & 2 shells so i dont see the problem fitting a 1.6 8v into a type 1 shell..
