just fitted a 1.4 sri into my car,problem with her startin every timei turn the key to start it just makes one tick noise.coiuld this be the starter motor jameed???? and also my pump isint priming fuel to the intake what could this be help needed asap thanks people x

Thats a starter motor click, exactly what you thought. Tried bump starting to double check?
Check your pump is working, it could be a blocked fuel line also.

ok ill try bump and the pump acutually isint priming u cant hear it drawing fuel through so i thought wiring straigt to ignition live would that work>?????

I'm not to sure about wiring it to the ignition. I would check the fuel pump relay has not gone because that starts the pump up before the engine comes on or check that it's actually getting a voltage. The relay is normally located in the fuse box and if you have air con they are usually the same relay so you can switch them over to test the pump. Hope this helps

it could be a flat battey it normally ticks when flat when there is not anonth voltage try a volt meter on the battery
