Hi guys, as you know I recently jailbroke my phone, I then tried to unlock it so it would work with my sim but on the re-boot it said I needed to restore with itunes.
Obviously I was like, bugger that didn't work but hey ho I will restore it (wrong) The problem I have now is that it's telling me to connect with itunes which I have done, but it says I need to enter my passcode, now I would if I had the option to, all I have is emergency calls only!
Any ideas?

What did you use to jailbreak it?

jailbrake was fine, the unluck was what buggered it up cos when it rebooted (bootneuter) it wouldn't re-load.
It's loading ok but getting stuck on the itunes bit, the phone is locked cos of my passcode but i don't get the option anywhere to add the passcode, just emergency calls and when I load it with itunes it's telling me to add the passcode.

If you jailbroke with blackra1n, im pretty sure you need to plug in to the PC every time you want to reboot the phone. It is normal to see the "connect to iTunes" screen if you reboot it

I used blackra1n and I don't need to have it plugged in to reboot.
Also, I had that screen come up after jailbreaking and all I needed to do was unlock it coz my iPhone came from America and wouldn't work with my O2 sim without being unlocked. I know that doesn't really help but thought I'd mention it anyways

As per the sticky jailbreaking thread, the newer Iphones need to 'make it ra1n' every time you reboot your iphone.
This doesnt affect the older iphones, even some of the older 3GS's, just the newer ones.
Forget about Itunes, just make it ra1n when asked to restore to itunes.
