Apple realised developers were making money from adverts and Apple wasn't getting a slice of the revenue, so out comes iAds

And i wouldn't be suprised if Apple refuse apps on the basis of apps using adverts outside iAds.....

From what i gather it's purely for developers and it'll be similar to before, where developers placed paying ads into their apps. Only difference is that Apple have made it easier via the SDK to do this and obviously they'll take a percentage/cut of the ads revenue (which they didn't get before).
