It feels plasitcky. Its too big and the menu icons look like a kids phone. Like comparing wii to xbox.

It's the same as in the iPad and that chip has been stripped down and confirmed to be the samsung chip with a couple of changes.

like i said im not too fussed about the camera flash.
Galaxy S vs Desire. what does one have that the other doesnt (and tbh i dont care if one has a smaller sized charger cable). enlighten me with the main things.

er not much in it mate, galaxy s is bigger and has a better camera i think bout it really.
both excellent pieces of equipment will be happy with both

Desire is smaller, does have a flash if you wanted one, I'd go with it because of the size, best of going into a phone shop and seeing what you like the look of.
Galaxy has a better graphics chip but it's doubtfull if you'll ever notice.

phone shops do let you have a play around with them if you asked? i dont mean the display ones. ones like how they have 40 million iphones all over the place.

They normally do, even if they have to open a box for you.
Desire HD will probably be massive like the Galaxy S which is the only problem.

and then 5 minutes after that hits the shops the HD4G or equivilent will be due out within the next month :S
edit: and if i wait for that then the next thread comes along. htc desire hd and then someone mentioned waiting until the next one is due as its 10x better. at this rate ill be waiting with the same SE C902 pile of shite until who knows

fucking pmsl. I had a look at the galaxy and the thing is huge. then i had a look at the desire and it really is an ugly phone. if they made the galaxy as small or smaller than the desire then i would have taken that.
after everything ive said i still ended up with the iphone 4
