Anyone know a decent External Sound card device??

I tried an EBay special but the sound was, just crap

It doesnt need to be 7.1 or SPDIF/Optical or anything, just need a second output so i can used my laptop as 2 Decks whilst DJing.

Why do you need an extra sound card? Just jack to phono it into your mixer.

What program you running on your laptop?

Using Virtual DJ. Want left deck into 1 channel and right deck into another channel. Hence the need for a 2nd sound card.

I dont wanna use the Laptop for the actual mixing (if u get what i mean), just cue'in and playing musics.

Well you only need 1 sound card then.

If your wanting to do what I think then you need a decent mixer. I dnt see many djs using 2 sound cards.

Use Tracktor instead of what your using too.

I wanna take 1 output (Left virtual deck) to channel 1 via primary sound card, and the other output (Right virtual deck) to channel 4 via a secondary sound card. All i am using VDJ for is starting the mp3s playing.

I have it all set up in VDJ to do this but the quality is shite from the Egay special.
