When the car is cold ie not been driven for a few hours, when i Drive i get a very fast clicking sound consistant with acceleration.
This goes after 2/3 minutes of relaxed driving, but is a horrible but very loud
Seems to be coming from alternator side, any ideas?

Is this proportional to engine speed or vehicle speed?

Engine speed, even if car is stil parked and i push accelator down it happens

my xe does the same its always done it. it sounds to me like an electric clicking. its never botherd me and the car runs perfect
