Hi guys im getting cheesed off now ive wired my c20let conversion up battery wire is all wired up to the alternator as it should through the fat grey plug in engine bay got all the earths all earthed out etc battery is in boot all lives conected etc im still not gettin a battery light on 1st click of ignition and when the car is running the volts dont go up stays at 12v so im wondering if alternator is broke or starting charging loom is broke?? But if alternator is broke there would be a batt light on?? But i aint got one all bulbs in back of dash are fine and fitted properly so has anybody had this problem or simular please help

i had this with me c20xe corsa,battery wasn't being charged,no light up ect,turned out to be alternator was fucked

Thats what we have got it down to  just needed some one to back it up see if its happend to them didnt what to start replacing stuff lol thanks for the reply

Bushes may have gone in the alternator.

so does that mean a new alternator? i took it out today what a squeeze lol past the driveshaft n that :s just going to buy a new one or a recon one

Yes all engine bay was earthed could it still be alternator problem? Ive just bought a alternator off ebay ill let you know if it sorts it :s
